Open Window Detection

This guide explains how to set the OPEN WINDOW DETECTION function on the radiator with Blower.

AVAILABLE FOR

  • Electric Radiator     
  • Blower     
  • Both     

 

What it is

The function automatically switches off the radiator when the thermostat detects a sudden temperature drop within 10 minutes, for example when a window is opened in winter.
The radiator will reactivate as soon as the temperature begins to rise rapidly again within 10 minutes.

 

When to use it

Ideal when you want to air the room while avoiding unnecessary energy waste for heating.

 

 

How to activate the Open Window Detection Function

 

    
  1. Press and hold the navigation button until the text rF ini. appears on the display.
       

 

    
  1. The first menu item "00" will appear at the top right of the screen.
       

 

    
  1. Press the button to select the menu item "02": OPEN YES
     
  2. Press Ok to confirm the selection
     
  3. Press the + or - buttons to set the desired value
    • YES: activates the open window function
    • NO: deactivates the open window function
       
  4. press OK to confirm 
     
  5. To exit the menu, press the button repeatedly until the menu item 12 appears: END.
    Click OK to confirm.

 

IMPORTANT:

  • If the radiator switches off after detecting an open window, the shutdown can be cancelled by pressing the button on the blower.

  • The open window mode is not available when the anti-freeze mode is active.

  • If an open window is detected with a temperature below 10 °C, the radiator switches off and automatically switches to anti-freeze mode.
